We are the Green Bloc formation, a caucus in YDSA and our communities organizing for justice and bottom-up ecosocialism.
About
Our work is to bring a radical, ecological perspective to YDSA, focusing on ecosocialism and organizing from a decentral perspective in YDSA. We also seek to prioritize safety and accesibility, promoting a culture of respect, consent, and liberation in our chapters and the DSA as a whole. The ecological crises we face are the defining issue of our time and our generation, and want to bring those issues to the forefront of our work and the movement.
We are based in both organizing and ideology, and consider the caucus a home for ecosocialists, anarchists, and libertarian socialist youth who agree with our core politics. We don't just operate as a national caucus, we also work to expand and strengthen the DSA as an organization and work directly in our communities and campuses through our locals.
